For Spring/Summer 2017, British heritage brand Belstaff has launched a limited edition capsule collection with cult Japanese street-wear brand SOPHNET.
Steeped in the spirit of adventure, Belstaff has created clothing for pioneers in motorsports, aviation and exploration, whilst SOPHNET. takes inspiration from music, art and street culture. The collaboration between the two brands mixes classic Belstaff shapes with SOPHNET. design cues for a modern, urban aesthetic.
The grey, blue and green camo print used throughout the collection is a British woodland camouflage, as seen within the Belstaff mainline collection for Summer ’17. Belstaff’s iconic four-pocket waxed cotton Roadmaster jacket is given a new look with this camo detailing and is also available in water repellent nylon, a first for Belstaff.
Other pieces within the collection include the Rebel jacket – a 70s café racer style taken from the Belstaff archive, the Westbury Parka – inspired by the Belstaff Foul Weather Parka MK3 and the Elmhurst Fleece. The collaboration also sees the creation of the BXS Sneaker – a classic, flat sneaker with waxed cotton laces and a nylon trim in different camo colours.
The limited edition collection is available now in Belstaff stores and online.
