Farah’s Haçienda-inspired Collection

Manchester’s art, music and club culture in the late 80s and early 90s is the inspiration behind Farah’s latest collection. In particular, the work of graphic designer Peter Saville who was a partner of the Manchester label Factory Records. Saville designed many of the label’s iconic album covers as well as the interior of their famous Haçienda nightclub.

References to the club’s iconic hazard stripe, New Order’s album artwork and an interpretation of Edward Wadsworth’s Dazzle Camo feature throughout the collection in shirting, jerseys, shorts, and swimwear. Farah’s seasonal trouser update includes new fabrics and detailing, and summer shorts in denim and chambray.
