Harvey Nichols’ New Menswear Department

Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has unveiled plans for their highly anticipated new menswear department, scheduled to open in April 2016 in the iconic flagship store in London. The menswear department, which occupies the two lower ground floors of the Knightsbridge store, is undergoing a total overhaul as part of an ambitious master plan, which will see the entire Knightsbridge store renovated over the next four years.

The space will showcase the brand’s new design concept that was unveiled in their Birmingham store last year. Unconventional and experimental design will be used to create a space that is sophisticated, individual and modern.

ROOM 1 INTERNATIONAL DESIGNER

Moving away from the typical shop in shop format, the menswear department will feature a ‘collection of specialised boutiques’ where each room within the 28,000 sq ft space will have a unique look and feel. A new concept space will also feature, which will house the very latest in gifts, technology, sunglasses, fragrance and grooming.

The destination will boast over 270 brands from the world’s most exciting international, contemporary, casualwear, tailoring and accessories designers. This curated edit of brands will be complemented by exceptional services throughout the department, including a barbers which will operate early morning till late to suit the busy menswear customer, and highly trained style advisors who will be on hand to offer expert advice on seasonal trends and styling in luxurious expansive dressing rooms.

ROOM 5 CASUAL WEEKEND

To celebrate the opening of this newly refurbished menswear department, Harvey Nichols has collaborated with over twenty brands to offer customers a series of exciting one-off pieces and exclusive capsule collections to be housed in the newly designed space. Some of these brand collaborations include Matthew Miller, 1205, Rochambeau, Peir Wu, Soulland, Tiger of Sweden and Grenson, to name but a few.

The space will also house around fifty brands new to Harvey Nichols, many of which will be exclusive. These include OAMC, Casely-Hayford, Wooyoungmi, Corneliani, Second Layer, Etudes, John Lobb, Troubadour, Want Les Essentiels and many more.
